Reports reaching Peepirit that a prisoner has escaped.
At 5:30pm yesterday afternoon, (not 'morning' as previously stated) Leon Toussaint, one of the participants of the violent armed MacMillan Petrol Station Robbery in 2011 made good his escape through the Stockfarm Prison kitchen Window.
The Prison Officials has refused to Collaborate with our reporters. Many questions still lie;
Why is the news of an escaped inmate a secret?
Doesn't Law Enforcement rely on the general public for information leading to the re-capture of fugitives?
Why are the Prison Officials being tight-lipped on the matter?
Why are they not corresponding with the media?
The Dominican Public deserves to know when their safety are at risk!
Peepirit has gotten answers to the above Questions from a Liason at the Stockfarm State Prison. The official statement is that, "the Prison Officials are not being secretive," our sources say, "we have released the information to the Police. It is their job to conduct an investigation while we at the Prison conduct our own internal investigations. The escape happened at 5:30 yesterday (June 16th,2017) afternoon. The Police need to release a statement to the media before we can say anything."
