Victim: Denny Louis |
Dominica-May 27th, 2017|
At five o'clock this afternoon, six friends took a boat from St Joseph to Salisbury. After the boat ride, they decided to have a cook-out on the beach. From the beach, it looked as though the boat anchored to the wharf was being drifted away. It certainly was not tied securely. Denny Louis a painter by profession decided to dive into the sea to retrieve the rope which is connected to the boat. The plan was that he would swim back to shore towing the boat behind him. After ten minutes, his friends on the beach lost sight of Denny, and the boat had drifted even further away. Dan decided to dive into the water to assist Denny in towing the boat. Upon reaching the boat, Dan realized Denny was nowhere close to the boat. Diving below the water Dan saw Denny fast asleep under the sea. Dan decided to bring Denny to the surface to get some air. "He was too heavy, I could not carry him to the shore," Dan told peepirit. "When I released him, he sank right back to the bottom of the sea."
The other friends decided to alert the Police.

ReplyDeleteThe way Dan spoke, it seems like their were women in the group of friends. He did not focus on them, as he was more passionate about relating the event.
