Last night at 11pm, after two and a half hours of deliberation, a jury of 6 women and 3 men rejected the charge of International homicide involving the Case of Guadeloupean Samantha Lamare and Lincoln 'Supa' Robin from Cottage/Toucarie , Dominica.
Samantha Lamare on May 31st 2013 planted a knife ten centimeters into the heart of Robin who died an hour and a half later.
"The Jury should take into consideration that the couple had many ups and downs in the relationship,"stated Lamare's Lawyer Daniel Democrit, "both parties shared wrong doings, errors and faults. Despite the tumultous relationship, this couple stayed together for 6 years and we must look into the future of the two children bore from the couple who are only four and six years old."
In consideration of the two children who would be losing a mother for a number of years and a father already gone, Samantha Lamare received a Sentence of only four years in prison.
