BREAKING NEWS: Shopkeeper gunned down.

46 year old Jean-Mitchel Theramen was well known in the community of Sainte- Marie, Martinique. He was a Taxi driver and owned a bar. Late last night, March 24th, 2017 Jean-Michel closed his shop, and was on his way home when a bike-man on a scooter approached him.

The bike-man wanted an alcoholic beverage, but Jean-Michel said that he had already closed up and is on his way out. A quarrel ensued between the men. The bike-man pulled out his gun and spared no lead, as he shot shopkeeper Jean-Michel at close range. Then rode of into the night.

The call came in quickly at the gendarmerie who responded in no time but after all attempts, were unsuccessful at reviving Jean-Michel. The research section of Fort de France is leading the investigation. The perpetrator of the shooting is still at large.
