Bagatelle Gunman Faces Life

Today, March 22nd 2017, is the second day of the 3 day trial for the murder of 26 year old Christopher Nestor of Pointe a Pitre, Guadeloupe. The fracas started on January 30th 2015, when only Michael Bunche (Dominican) a friend of the victim; Christopher Nestor
(a french Man) confronted the other Dominicans; Yannick Joseph and Jordan Martin. Michael Bunche warned the Dominicans from trespassing on his territory, called 'Cour Zamia' in Carenage.

Carenage is a ghetto where mostly middle aged (45 to 50 years old and over) Spanish prostitutes (who refuses to retire from the profession) sit on white plastic chairs along the side walks all day and all night long awaiting customers. It is also a place with endless drug sales and traffic.

Michael Bunche threatened the other Dominicans, by firing warning shots at the Dominicans with his gun. He told them to find somewhere else to sell their cocaine. This market belongs to his crew and they have been there since they were children. That's where they live, and they can't come from Dominica and take over a market that they (Bunche and his crew) have been maintaining for years. No one is going to steal their customers.

The following day,on January 31st,2015 the two Dominican men in their mid 20's went to the home of Michael Bunche and Christopher Nestor because they live in the same house.

Sawed of shot-gun

Yannick Joseph and Jordan Martin, the Dominicans, got rifles, and sawed them off to make shot-guns. With these shot-guns, they went to the home where Bunche and Nestor lived. They sprayed the house (Christopher Nestor and Michael Bunche's house) with Bullets. Only Christopher Nestor was home at the moment. He died from multiple Bullet wounds. The same night, Mr. Jordan Martin took a small boat and went back to Dominica, Where he has been hiding out (in public for the past 2 years) since there is no extradition treaty between France and Dominica. Today is the second day of the trial in his absence. On the stand today is only 27 year old Yannick Joseph from Bagatelle, Dominica. He gets a chance to tell his side of the story, but still, he faces life in prison.
