We are being told by the Mayor Irene John that Roseau have several teams of persons cleaning the city yet the drains on every street is laced moss. What we call "limou" in our kweyole language. In addition to the visible germs the gutters
have a strong stench that hits you when you pass close to them which leads you to wonder what is flowing through our city gutters?
Does the ministry of health have any standards in place as to what waste goes into the city open drains?
How can resturants operate with unsanitary drains flowing directly in front their place of eatery?
In some places the cooking is done right over them!
Hope we can get some answers from the mayor of roseau and the ministry of tourism who have one right in front his door step.
